Privacy statement

Weil Operations is the business of Gabor Weil and is responsible for processing personal data as described here. You can reach me at gabor@gaborweil.nl or +31 6 54 65 13 00.

The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no ad networks and no third-party scripts or fonts. There is no form on it.

Like any website, the server keeps technical logs, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type. They are needed to keep the site secure and working, are not used to track you, and are deleted automatically after a short time.

If you contact me by email, phone, WhatsApp or LinkedIn, I use your name, contact details and message to reply and to plan an introduction.

WhatsApp and LinkedIn are services of other companies, Meta and Microsoft, so their privacy rules also apply to messages sent that way. If you prefer not to use them, email or call me instead.

During a scan or assignment I get insight into your business: processes, contracts, figures and sometimes data about employees, clients or suppliers. I only use that information for the assignment, do not share it with others, and return or destroy documents afterwards unless the law requires them to be kept.

Where needed we put this in a non-disclosure or data processing agreement. For legal review I sometimes work with a trusted specialist. That only happens with your permission and under the same confidentiality.

• To answer your message or carry out an assignment (performance of a contract, including the steps before it).
• To keep my accounts (legal obligation).
• For server logs and security (legitimate interest: a secure, working website).

• Messages that do not lead to an assignment: up to two years after the last contact.
• Quotes, engagement letters and invoices: seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
• Working documents of an assignment: until the assignment is finished, unless we agree otherwise.
• Server logs: briefly, then deleted automatically.

I do not sell data or use it for advertising. I only share what is needed with services I use for my work, such as hosting, email and bookkeeping. My email runs on Microsoft 365.

I take appropriate measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, secured accounts and confidential storage of documents.

You may access, correct or delete your data. You can also object, restrict processing or request a copy to take elsewhere. Email gabor@gaborweil.nl and you will hear from me within a month.

If you are unhappy, please tell me first. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in your own country.
