About Gabor Weil

At NOVI University of Applied Sciences I was responsible for day-to-day IT, facilities, procurement and partnerships during the years in which the organisation grew, right up to its sale.

Almost all contracts also went through me, from partners and rent to lease cars, insurance and compliance. I always worked in the interest of the company and its shareholders, not my department.

One example: when NOVI entered into a partnership with another large university of applied sciences in Utrecht, the agreements came from their side. I rewrote them so they served the interests of both parties, and the university was so pleased that it asked me to give a workshop on it.

• Corrected VAT errors in lease contracts and renegotiated the insurance package
• Won a court case thanks to a carefully built file
• Full migration to Microsoft 365, SharePoint and 3CX telephony
• GDPR, health and safety (RI&E) and the NRTO quality mark set up and maintained

Before that, from 1994 to 2011, I ran my own IT companies, with several branches and around 30 staff.

Contracts are the common thread in my work. At NOVI almost every agreement went through me: partners, rent, lease cars, insurance and compliance.

I draft, review and negotiate contracts so they work for both parties. For the legal review I work with a regular specialist who holds a law degree and a PhD in IT and law.

From 1994 to 2011 I ran my own IT companies in computers and repairs, networks, servers and hosting. With several branches and around thirty staff, I learned entrepreneurship in practice.

Alongside Weil Operations I am the founder of Ambolo IT, Dutch IT support for businesses and private clients on the Costa Blanca and in the Veluwe.

I work in Dutch, English, German and Spanish.
